Working in partnership to deliver Excellence in Education

Because our consultants have themselves held responsible posts as Head Teachers, Directors of Education, national policy advisors or HM Inspectors, they understand the needs of the Education Service and can offer targeted and effective support at all levels.

 

We are aware that there are many valuable support services already in place including mentoring schemes and peer review.  While these are really important opportunities, it is always going to be difficult for current post-holders who carry significant responsibility to dedicate a great deal of time to direct support of colleagues in other areas.

 

What we can provide is that dedicated support – observing, monitoring, reporting back, making recommendations and if required bringing in additional resources to actually deliver in a particular area.

 

Examples of the support services we can provide are:

 

Mentoring- Regular meetings and telephone support to hone leadership skills and optimise the effectiveness of the team.

 

Organisational Alignment Review– A review of how well staff activities are aligned with service aims and priorities.

 

Capacity Building – A programme to build the management, leadership and delivery capacity of the local team.

 

All of the E3Net activities are directed towards building the capacity in this way.  No matter what the intervention, E3Net will work with those in post to ensure that they develop as individuals and leave an organisation more able to cope with the pressures and changes inherent in today’s education provision.
